MASA staff and lobbyists have been working hard to make sure the interests of ASCs are represented in Maryland. From attending hearings on health care issues in the State House or the Maryland Health Care Commission to working with provider coalitions, MASA is your ASCs voice in Maryland. Here are some simple ideas that you can use to promote ASCs to your elected officials.

Contact your Legislator

Use this sample letter to welcome your State Legislators to Annapolis and inform them of your ASC and even invite them for a tour. This letter is similar to the one MASA sent in the beginning of January. By informing the Legislators about the contributions ASCs make to meeting Maryland’s surgical needs, you can help raise the visibility of our industry in Annapolis.
